Are you looking to build a career in software, technology and consultative sales?

We are looking for an enthusiastic, customer-focused Associate Solutions Consultant to join a growing SaaS client of ours. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in customer service, account management, business development, sales support, recruitment, customer success or software support who is looking to progress into a customer-facing consulting role.

Working alongside experienced sales, product and implementation professionals, you will learn how to understand customer requirements, deliver engaging software demonstrations and help organisations improve the way they operate through innovative technology solutions. Previous experience within workforce management is not required, as comprehensive training and ongoing development will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

  • Participate in discovery meetings with prospective customers to understand their business challenges and objectives.
  • Learn how to identify customer requirements, operational processes and desired business outcomes.
  • Support the delivery of tailored software demonstrations and presentations.
  • Assist in the preparation of proposals, tenders, questionnaires and supporting sales documentation.
  • Work closely with the sales team throughout the customer buying journey.
  • Develop an understanding of software solutions and industry best practice.
  • Build strong relationships with prospective customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, Implementation and Customer Success teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.

You are a motivated, proactive individual with excellent communication and presentation skills. You enjoy engaging with a wide range of stakeholders and are comfortable translating business challenges into practical technology solutions. You have a genuine interest in software and technology, enjoy learning new skills and thrive in a collaborative environment where you can contribute to successful customer outcomes.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience in a customer-facing role, such as account management, customer success, customer service, business development, internal sales, recruitment or software support.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident communicating with customers, colleagues and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience using CRM systems.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • A proactive approach with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Professional, reliable and customer focused.
  • Ambitious with a genuine desire to develop a career in software consulting and technology.

  • Experience delivering presentations, demonstrations or training sessions.
