Solutions Consultant – New Business (UK)
Overview We build systems that actually get used. And we help clients figure out what they really need before anything gets built.
At Mutherboard, we work with growing UK businesses to bring clarity to chaos designing scalable workflows on monday.com.
We’re now looking for a Solutions Consultant – New Business to lead consultative sales conversations, run discovery workshops, and help organisations translate messy, real-world operations into solutions that work.
This is not a traditional “sales rep” role. You’ll win business by asking great questions, running strong workshops, and designing the right solutions
What You’ll Be Doing
Client discovery & workshops Lead in-person and remote workshops with prospective customers Uncover operational gaps, inefficiencies, and risks across teams. Map current-state and future-state workflows with clarity and confidence Help clients articulate problems they often struggle to define themselves
Solution design & alignment Translate workshop outcomes into clear, practical monday.com solutions Align solutions to business goals, not just tool capabilities Work closely with delivery teams to shape scalable, realistic builds Ensure what’s sold is something clients can actually adopt and use

Commercial ownership Own the commercial journey from first workshop through to close Support scoping, pricing discussions, and proposal development Progress opportunities with credibility, structure, and pace Work alongside BDRs who book meetings, while also being proactive in building pipeline
Events & relationship building Represent mutherboard at UK events, partner sessions, and workshops Help host customer roundtables, discovery sessions, and in-person workshops Build long-term relationships within the UK operations and SaaS ecosystem
Internal collaboration Feed market insight, objections, and patterns back to leadership Help refine how we position, sell, and deliver our solutions Act as a bridge between sales, delivery, and customer success
What You Bring Experience in consultative B2B sales, solutions consulting, or pre-sales Confidence running discovery sessions or workshops with senior stakeholders Strong problem-solving skills - you enjoy untangling complex situations Ability to translate business challenges into structured solutions Clear, confident communication (verbal, written, and visual) A proactive, self-starting mindset with strong ownership Comfort working independently while collaborating closely with a team Willingness to travel within the UK for workshops, meetings, and events
