The Role
The Solutions Consultant at MasterControl is responsible for supporting product sales efforts to acquire new customers and expand business with existing customers. This role involves collaborating with Account executives, Account Managers and extended commercial and customer success teams to understand customer needs, provide technical and business solutions, and deliver compelling product demonstrations and presentations. The Solutions Consultant will possess in-depth knowledge of medical devices, pharmaceutical, blood and biologics, and ISO compliance issues and processes to effectively address customer pain points and requirements.

Responsibilities
- Collaborate with sales representatives to research and understand customer needs in the Life Sciences and ISO-regulated industries.
- Use that discovery research to configure and demonstrate in-depth product functionality to prospects, tailoring demonstrations to specific customer requirements.
- Present MasterControl solutions for various aspects of a customer's business, highlighting the product's versatility and applicability.
- Support the response to functional aspects of RFxs, ensuring accurate and comprehensive answers.
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineers to develop and maintain sales tools, including demo databases and trial sites.
- Collaborate with relevant teams like Product Management and Product Marketing on the creation of sales supporting materials and technical demonstrations.
- Provide product-related training for sales staff as needed.
Skills for Success
- In-depth knowledge of Quality Management, Quality Processes, and Manufacturing Execution Processes related to the Life Sciences and ISO-regulated industries, including FDA regulations and ISO standards.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- Professional and interpersonal skills to develop and foster positive relationships with customers and internal teams.
- Proficient in using web-based applications and Microsoft Office products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Life Sciences and/or ISO-regulated industry expertise.
- Exceptional presentation skills.
- Ability to think critically and articulate solutions to complex problems under pressure.
- Strong time management skills to meet tight deadlines.
- Some travel required.
- Experience with Quality Management and/or Manufacturing Execution solutions is a plus.
