About the Role

Are you passionate about robotics, automation and cutting-edge technology? Do you enjoy solving technical challenges while working directly with customers? At ICE, we're leading the way in autonomous cleaning solutions. As the UK's largest independent provider of industrial cleaning equipment, we've spent over a decade helping customers embrace robotic cleaning technology across sectors including retail, healthcare, logistics, manufacturing and education. We're looking for a Solutions Deployment Specialist to join our growing team. This is an exciting field-based role where you'll install, commission, support and optimise our fleet of robotic cleaning machines, helping customers unlock the full potential of automation.

Responsibilities

  • Install, commission and optimise cleaning equipment at customer sites.
  • Carry out site surveys and support in recommending the best solution for each environment.
  • Configure robots, create cleaning routes and complete customer handovers.
  • Deliver operator training and ongoing technical support.
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues, aiming for first-time fixes.
  • Monitor performance and recommend improvements to maximise efficiency and customer success.
  • Work closely with Sales, Engineering and manufacturers to deliver innovative solutions.
  • Maintain accurate service records and manage van stock to ensure you're always ready for the next job.

Requirements

You'll ideally have:

  • Experience in robotics, automation, field service engineering or industrial equipment.
  • Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills across electrical, mechanical or software systems.
  • A passion for technology and continuous learning.
  • Excellent communication skills and confidence working directly with customers.
  • Strong IT skills and experience using digital service management systems.
  • Excellent organisation and the ability to manage your own workload.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • An understanding of basic electrical knowledge and motor drive control principles.
  • Experience with Linux platform is preferred.
  • An engineering qualification in Robotics, Mechatronics, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, IT or a related discipline is desirable but not essential.
