Solutions Engineer EMEA – AI & Analytics
Job Description
Are you passionate about AI and analytics, and about turning emerging technology into real customer value? Join our Engineering, Training & Portfolio Strategy team in EMEA and help shape how Axis brings data-driven solutions to market. This hybrid role can be based at any Axis EMEA office.
What you'll do here as a Solutions Engineer EMEA – AI & Analytics
You will be the bridge between our AI and analytics capabilities, the customers who benefit from them, and the sales teams who position them. You translate complex technology into practical value - across edge-based analytics, AI-enabled detection, metadata integration, dashboards and business intelligence applications. You are the translator of complex things into real world usage and you get energy out of presenting this to small and large crowds.
- Build and share EMEA-level knowledge in AI, analytics and data-driven solutions, making complex capabilities accessible to the business.
- Identify customer use cases where AI and analytics create meaningful value in security, safety, operational efficiency or business intelligence.
- Support high-value opportunities through discovery sessions, technical workshops, demonstrations, pilots and proof-of-concept implementations.
- Work proactively with regional sales teams and partners as a trusted advisor throughout the sales cycle.
- Create reusable enablement content - presentations, demonstrations, training material and launch preparation.
- Translate customer and field insights into structured feedback, technology requirements and roadmap input for Product Management and R&D.
- Support product launches by evaluating market readiness, identifying gaps and preparing the field for adoption.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
