Solutions Engineer - Enterprise Networking

Role Purpose The Solution Engineer - Networking works closely with the Natilik Sales community to workshop and design technical solutions. The primary value of this role is to understand a client’s existing technology landscape, to understand their challenges and desired outcomes, and to build a technology solution which meets the identified business objectives. This will require engaging and building good relationships with clients and prospects to generate positive interest in the solutions we are working with and the business benefits that can be gained from the investment in these technologies, as well as a deep understanding of our solution portfolio and value proposition. Main activities, tasks & duties Provide quick and accurate support for transactional opportunities, working closely with Sales and Sales Operations teams to provide estimates supporting quotation for clients in a time effective manner. Provide Sales Operations support for any technical queries or escalations and any necessary supplier management. Collaborate directly with clients and clearly capture their requirements to enable you to architect and design the appropriate limited scope technology solutions to meet their business challenges. Clearly articulate solutions and business value through client meetings and produce detailed, clear and concise client facing documentation. Build and maintain great relationships with clients, prospects and internal stakeholders, acting as a trusted technical solutions advisor / advocate for clients. Competently use vendor pricing & design tools, working alongside internal stakeholders on commercial elements of proposed solutions. Conduct workshops and technology showcases of limited scope, demonstrating business value of proposed solutions. Assist Solution Architects with preparation and delivery of moderate/advanced scope workshops and showcases. Execute wireless predictive surveys to support estimation and quoting of wireless opportunities.
To deliver in your role we expect the following skills, abilities, knowledge & experience: Non-Technical Skills & Abilities: Ability to build and maintain relationships across client teams and key stakeholders Excellent communication skills required in order to listen, understand and clearly capture client requirements whilst demystifying technology and explaining in simpler terms. Strong team player who enjoys working alongside others, contributing and adding informed opinion and insights to discussions. Ability to perform client workshops and run technology showcases Engage and provide knowledge transfer to individuals in Natilik rapid fulfilment Clearly articulate solutions and business value through documented high-level designs and diagrams Other valued skills and abilities are: Attention to detail, Numerate, Analysis and Diagnosis, Report creation, Negotiation skills. Technical Skills & Abilities: Technical background, with previous customer-facing experience 2 years’ experience designing Networking solutions A good understanding of Networking solutions Good knowledge of Networking partners Entry-level Networking accreditation (e.g. Degree-level Networking, CCST Networking, CompTIA Network+) Proven track record of designing low complexity solutions BENEFITS: Natilik offers a series of benefits and perks designed to support your personal and professional growth, while fostering a thriving and rewarding work environment.
