What You’ll Be Responsible For

Circle is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer II to support Exchanges and Liquidity opportunities in EMEA. In this role, you will lead technical solutioning throughout the customer lifecycle - from discovery and technical validation through implementation and post-sales expansion - partnering closely with Business Development, Product, Engineering, and Client Success teams. You will design scalable, enterprise-grade solutions that demonstrate the value of Circle’s products for centralized exchanges, decentralized exchanges, and liquidity providers. As a senior individual contributor, you will also provide structured market and technical feedback that informs product strategy and roadmap prioritization, helping ensure our solutions meet the evolving needs of global crypto ecosystem participants.

What You'll Work On

  • Partner with Business Development to lead the technical strategy and solution architecture for Exchanges and Liquidity opportunities.
  • Conduct technical discovery sessions to identify client requirements, regulatory considerations, and integration constraints.
  • Design and present scalable solution architectures, including APIs, transaction flows, custody models, and settlement processes.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts, implementation plans, and technical validation frameworks to support enterprise decision-making.
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to identify product gaps, influence prioritization, and improve integration experiences.
  • Support post-sale implementations in partnership with Client Success, ensuring technical delivery aligns with architectural design and customer objectives.
  • Represent Circle externally at industry events, technical workshops, and client engagements while contributing to internal knowledge sharing and global Solutions Engineering initiatives.
  • Create and sustain an internal knowledge repository about our existing and forthcoming products.
  • Supporting the Global Solutions Engineering team with internal projects.

What You’ll Bring To Circle

Core Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience from roles like Solutions Engineer, Sales Engineer, Solutions Architect or Product Manager, preferably with Web3, blockchain infrastructure, FinTech, or B2B SaaS background.
  • Clarity in Complexity: You excel at translating complexity into simplicity.
  • Communicator at Heart: Your communication and storytelling skills shine, whether it's in one-on-one discussions or presenting to larger teams.
  • Problem Solver: You approach challenges with a blend of logic and creativity, always seeking the best outcomes.
  • Client-Focused: Recognized for a client-centric approach, you've been a dependable partner for sales, client success and product/tech teams.
  • Technical Achievements: You have a history of successfully designing and validating technical solutions, especially for large enterprises.
  • Tech-Savvy: Hands-on experience with API testing, database querying, and sketching out technical flows is second nature to you.
  • Collaborator: A proven track record of working alongside developers on SaaS product integration and development.
  • Drive and Collaboration: An entrepreneurial spirit is evident in your work. You value fast-paced environments and prioritize building strong relationships.

Preferred Requirements

  • Leadership Qualities: If you've managed a team before, it's a bonus. Your ability to work in tandem with multiple departments stands out.
  • Experience working with blockchain infrastructure, stablecoins, tokenized assets, or digital custody solutions.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance considerations relevant to global Capital Markets.
  • Ready to Travel: regular travel (up to 25%) to external events and to meeting partners/customers across the EMEA region should be expected.
