Solutions Engineer (TypeScript)

£40,000 + 10% Bonus | Manchester | Hybrid

One of the most exciting AI companies coming out of Manchester are hiring. After a huge round of investment they are looking to grow their Solutions Engineering team.

They’re building a next-generation AI-driven platform that connects and automates systems - something that could completely change how companies make their tech work together.

You’ll be working directly with cutting-edge AI tools (LLMs, ChatGPT, Claude etc) while learning how to design and build smart automation flows. With direct client interactions, Solution Architecture, clarifying requirements, resolving ambiguities, and ensure integrations meet design and performance standards.

With TypeScript & Integrations key to this role.

Some of the Work:

  • Design, build, and maintain automation workflows on the platform using TypeScript to integrate multiple third-party systems
  • Develop system-to-system integrations using REST and GraphQL APIs, including webhooks, event-driven triggers, and scheduled workflows
  • Implement secure authentication mechanisms such as OAuth 2.0, API keys, and Basic Authentication across various platforms
  • Integrate and automate platforms
  • Perform complex data mapping and transformation (JSON, XML, Base64) to ensure data consistency across systems
  • Debug and resolve API errors including 4xx/5xx responses, data mismatches, rate limits, and pagination issues
  • Document workflows, API behaviors, and edge cases to improve maintainability and knowledge sharing
