LSL Capital is looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Sommelier to join the team at Nipotina, our elegant Italian restaurant in the heart of Mayfair.

The Role
As Sommelier, you'll help create memorable wine experiences for our guests while supporting the development and success of our wine programme. You'll work closely with the management team to deliver exceptional service, recommend wine pairings, and inspire both guests and colleagues with your enthusiasm for wine and food.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Curating, developing, and maintaining an exceptional wine list in collaboration with senior management
- Delivering knowledgeable and engaging wine service to every guest
- Recommending wine pairings that enhance our authentic Italian cuisine
- Training, mentoring, and inspiring the Front of House team to deliver exceptional wine service
- Hosting regular wine tastings and educational sessions
- Managing wine stock, ordering, supplier relationships, and stock takes
- Monitoring wine GP and supporting commercial performance
- Ensuring correct storage, rotation, and presentation of all wines
- Maintaining impeccable service standards and attention to detail
- Professionally handling guest enquiries and wine-related requests
- Ensuring compliance with licensing regulations, health & safety, and company procedures
- Overseeing the organisation and maintenance of wine cellars, cabinets, glassware, and sommelier equipment

About You
We're looking for someone who is genuinely passionate about wine, food, and hospitality.
We're more interested in your enthusiasm, knowledge, personality, and willingness to learn than simply the number of years you've spent in the role.
You'll have:
- WSET Level 3 qualification (or equivalent)
- Excellent knowledge of wines from a broad range of regions and producers
- Previous experience as a Sommelier within a luxury or high-end restaurant
- A passion for wine, food, and delivering memorable guest experiences
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
- Strong organisational, commercial, and stock management abilities
- A professional, proactive, and guest-focused approach
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced luxury hospitality environment
