About The Venue
Managed by Rhubarb, Sky Garden sits atop 20 Fenchurch Street, a.k.a. the Walkie Talkie Building, and houses two restaurants, two bars, a retail outlet, ground floor coffee kiosk and stunning event spaces.

Fenchurch Restaurant, poised on level 37 of the iconic Sky Garden, showcases RHC’s commitment to delivering culinary excellence and impeccable service. In acknowledgement of our ambition, Fenchurch has been awarded two AA rosettes as well as the Best of Award of Excellence from the Wine Spectator Awards.
Role Purpose
Sommelier / Junior Sommelier - 2 AA Rosette Restaurant
£16 per hour
We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Sommelier or Junior Sommelier to join our team at Fenchurch Restaurant, the award-winning 2 AA Rosette restaurant located at the top of London's iconic Sky Garden. This is an exciting opportunity for a wine professional looking to develop their career within a prestigious fine dining environment. What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Head Sommelier in the daily running of the wine department
- Delivering exceptional wine service and creating memorable dining experiences for guests
- Advising guests confidently on wine pairings, wine recommendations, grape varietals, and wine regions
- Ensuring the correct storage, handling, and presentation of wines to maintain quality standards
- Contributing to the smooth operation of the restaurant's wine programme and beverage service
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Sommelier, Junior Sommelier, Wine Waiter, or similar role within a fine dining or hospitality environment
- Strong knowledge of wine, wine-producing regions, grape varietals, and food and wine pairings
- Excellent communication, guest engagement, and interpersonal skills
- A passion for wine, hospitality, and delivering exceptional customer experiences
- WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or other recognised wine qualifications would be advantageous
