Shape the Future of Planning at Avara Foods

Please note this is open to internal applications only at this stage.

Are you highly analytical with a passion for turning data into business insight? Do you enjoy working across teams to solve complex challenges and influence decision-making? Looking for an exciting new career opportunity?

As an inclusive, forward-thinking business, we take pride in our approach to continuous improvement and are looking for a highly competent and motivated S&OP Analyst to join our team.

Purpose of the Role

As S&OP Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the implementation and ongoing development of Avara Foods' Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process across our Chicken, Turkey and Logistics businesses. You'll work closely with colleagues across Finance, Sales, Supply Chain and Operations, providing the analysis, reporting and modelling that helps drive business performance and informed decision-making.

This role can be based in Brackley or Hereford, with hybrid working available.

Your Key Responsibilities As S&OP Analyst Will Include

  • Supporting the implementation and evolution of the S&OP process by developing tools, templates and models that enable effective planning and decision-making. Help document processes, workflows and key planning inputs.
  • Analysing sales, forecast, inventory and supply chain data to identify trends, risks and opportunities.
  • Development and maintenance reports, dashboards and models to support performance monitoring and strategic planning.
  • Working closely with teams across Sales, Finance, Operations and Supply Chain to gather planning assumptions, validate inputs and support alignment across the business.
  • Preparing materials for monthly S&OP meetings and executive reviews.
  • Tracking actual performance against forecast, providing insight and recommendations to improve forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.
  • Identifying process inefficiencies and supporting improvement initiatives through data-driven analysis and practical solutions that enhance planning capability across the business.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
