About The Team
You’ll be joining the JINGDONG Logistics team, which values collaboration, ownership, and a commitment to delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Sortation Supervisor
Milton Keynes
Night Shift - Wednesday to Saturday
- Task Allocation & Personnel Scheduling: Develop sorting plans based on cargo volume and efficiency targets. Allocate tasks to team members and coordinate equipment usage to ensure timely and orderly sorting and dispatch operations.
- Process Oversight & Optimisation: Supervise sorting operations to ensure adherence to operational standards. Address deviations promptly and analyse operational bottlenecks to optimise sorting routes and methods, enhancing process standardisation and efficiency.
- Exception Handling & Quality Assurance: Address anomalies such as damaged goods and sorting errors, providing timely feedback and solutions. Conduct random quality checks to ensure accuracy and minimise error rates.
- Team Leadership & Development: Oversee daily sorting team operations, organizing skills and safety training to enhance proficiency and awareness. Foster a positive team environment to boost cohesion and execution capabilities.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with loading/unloading, transportation, and other departments to ensure seamless logistics flow. Facilitate timely communication and joint problem-solving to optimise interlink efficiencies across the logistics chain.
