Role: Sound Engineer (Contract)

Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere)

Payout: $25 - $55/hour


Role Overview

We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking an Audio Engineer to design, record, and edit high-quality audio content for digital platforms. The role involves producing voiceovers, sound effects, and music tracks to meet project specifications. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure audio assets align with creative and technical requirements.


Key Responsibilities

  • Record, edit, and mix audio content using industry-standard software and tools.
  • Produce voiceovers, sound effects, and background music for digital media projects.
  • Ensure audio quality meets technical and creative standards for platform distribution.
  • Collaborate with content creators to refine audio elements based on feedback.
  • Maintain organised audio libraries and project files for efficient retrieval.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Pro Tools.
  • Experience with recording and processing voiceovers, sound effects, and music tracks.
  • Knowledge of audio mixing, mastering, and compression techniques.
  • Ability to work with digital audio workstations (DAWs) and related plugins.
  • Familiarity with file formats, sample rates, and audio delivery standards.
