About the Role
We are seeking experienced Source Inspectors with a strong background in aerospace and manufacturing to support critical operations related to our fuselage program.
Product excellence is integral to meeting strict quality, engineering, and regulatory standards before final integration. This position requires meticulous attention to detail and a collaborative approach to drive continuous improvement in our supply chain.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct in-process and final source inspections at supplier facilities to ensure compliance with:
- Engineering drawings and drawings
- Technical specifications
- Purchase order requirements
- Interpret and verify compliance with aerospace blueprints, GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing), and technical documentation with strict accuracy.
- Enforce adherence to AS9100, FAA regulations, and customer-specific quality standards.
- Document inspection results, compile detailed reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders with clarity and precision.
- Identify non-conformances and collaborate with suppliers to implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Lead and support Non-Conformance Report (NCR) resolution through rigorous root cause analysis and actionable improvements.
- Champion continuous improvement initiatives and supplier quality development.

Requirements
Must Have:
- Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing and inspection, ideally on airframe or fuselage structures.
- Strong working knowledge of precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.).
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply complex engineering drawings and standards.
- Familiarity with quality systems and regulatory frameworks, such as AS9100.
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to communicate findings effectively.
- Certification in inspection (e.g. CMM, NDT) is a strong asset.

Preferred:
- Previous experience supporting OEM aerospace programs.
- Hands-on experience with aircraft structures, fuselage sections, or assemblies.
- Background in supplier quality or source inspection environments.
