Sourcing & Execution Specialist (Procurement)
Location: Remote, UK
Contract: 12 months (with potential extension to 18 months)
About the Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sourcing & Execution Specialist to join a high-performing procurement team supporting large-scale infrastructure and data centre delivery projects across the EMEA region. This role will focus on end-to-end procurement support, supplier onboarding, sourcing activities, contract management, purchase order execution, and supply chain coordination. Working closely with project, commercial, legal, and operational stakeholders, you will help ensure critical projects are delivered efficiently and in line with procurement governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
Supply Chain Management
- Manage supplier onboarding processes across multiple categories and regions.
- Coordinate supplier due diligence, compliance checks, and vendor activation.
- Monitor supplier readiness and ensure vendors are fully operational before procurement activities commence.
- Support supplier performance monitoring and supply chain risk mitigation initiatives.
- Contribute to supplier optimisation and continuous improvement programmes.
Procurement & Sourcing
- Lead regional and site-specific RFQs and RFPs.
- Prepare bid documentation and conduct commercial bid evaluations.
- Coordinate stakeholder reviews to ensure consistent and comparable bid submissions.
- Prepare award recommendations and procurement justification documentation.
- Review and evaluate contractual documentation including service agreements, statements of work, and rate cards.
- Support the development and execution of sourcing strategies across key spend categories.
- Act as a trusted procurement partner to internal stakeholders.

Purchase Order & Contract Administration
- Support Purchase Agreement and Purchase Order processes from creation through approval.
- Perform quality assurance checks on procurement requests and documentation.
- Validate pricing against approved rate cards and supplier agreements.
- Coordinate contract execution and approvals with legal, commercial, and operational teams.
Supply Chain Coordination
- Track supplier delivery schedules and manage procurement-related logistics activities.
- Communicate schedule changes and escalate potential risks to project timelines.
- Support stakeholders during supply chain disruptions and resolution activities.
Reporting & Process Improvement
- Maintain procurement trackers, dashboards, and reporting tools.
- Support reporting on key procurement KPIs, including:
- PO Turnaround Time
- PO Attainment
- On-Time Delivery
- On-Time Request/Order Metrics
- Drive process standardisation and procurement transformation initiatives.
- Support implementation of procurement best practices and continuous improvement activities.

About You
Essential Experience
- Experience within Procurement, Strategic Sourcing, Contract Management, or Cost Management.
- Experience within construction, infrastructure, engineering, utilities, telecommunications, or data centre environments.
- Strong commercial and supplier management expertise.
- Experience running sourcing exercises, bid evaluations, and contract reviews.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at multiple levels.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Experience using procurement and ERP systems.
- Exposure to SAP Ariba, SAP, or similar sourcing platforms is highly desirable.
- Power BI knowledge would be advantageous.
Preferred Experience
- Data centre construction or fit-out projects.
- Service agreements and Statements of Work (SOWs).
- Working with outsourced procurement or shared service teams.
