Sous Chef
Executive Sous Chef
Reporting directly to the Culinary Director, the successful candidate will oversee all aspects of the kitchen’s operation. You’ll act as a key deputy to the Culinary Director and Chef de Cuisine, delegating tasks, assisting with operations, and mentoring junior chefs across various roles. The ideal candidate will bring significant expertise, ensuring seamless kitchen management, strict adherence to food hygiene standards, and administrative duties when required.
Responsibilities
- Management of the entire kitchen operation
- Supervision and leadership of the kitchen team
- Ensuring compliance with food hygiene protocols
- Administration of kitchen-related tasks
- Examination of responsibilities in the Sous Chef or comparable leadership roles

What We Are Looking For
- A passion for food paired with deep kitchen knowledge
- Understanding of food safety and hygiene
- Demonstratable leadership and coaching ability
- Experience as a Sous Chef in a 5-star establishment, Michelin-starred restaurant, or AA rosette-awarded venue
Qualifications & Competencies
- Relevant NVQ or professional cooking qualifications (though flexibility and technical skills will determine final selection)
- High fluency in written and spoken English
- UK work eligibility
- Optimal: Fluency in a second language
