Sous Chef - Locke Canary Wharf

A brand new opening. A fresh start. We are looking for a Sous Chef to help launch it.

We are opening Locke Canary Wharf, and we are building our kitchen team from the ground up. As one of our founding Sous Chefs, you will be there from the very beginning, helping to set the pace, shape the standards, and lead the line as we open the doors in one of London's most vibrant districts. This is a rare chance to join a new venue with a group that genuinely invests in its chefs.

This isn't a role where you slot into an established routine. As a new opening, this is your opportunity to help build something from scratch, put your stamp on how the kitchen runs, and grow as the venue grows. If you love the buzz of a launch and take real pride in every plate, we want to hear from you.

We are White Rabbit Hospitality, and we do things differently. Hospitality is at our core, we do the right thing, we pursue excellence, and we are all entrepreneurs. Our ethos is simple: work hard and be kind.

Our Values, In Every Service:

  • HOSPITALITY IS AT OUR CORE - You know every dish that leaves your section shapes a guest's experience.
  • WE DO THE RIGHT THING - You never cut corners on hygiene, safety, or quality, whoever is watching.
  • WE PURSUE EXCELLENCE - You take pride in consistency, precision, and a section that runs flawlessly.
  • WE ARE ALL ENTREPRENEURS - You watch waste, manage stock, and take ownership of your part of the kitchen.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
