Sous Chef – High-End Restaurant | London

£45,000 - £55,000 DOE | 50 Hours Per Week | Immediate Start Available

PRS is delighted to be partnering with an exceptional high-volume London restaurant owned by a Michelin-starred chef, renowned for delivering outstanding Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine in a vibrant, fast-paced environment.

We are seeking an ambitious, driven, and experienced Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step in their career and play a key leadership role within a large, talented kitchen brigade.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a chef who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and is passionate about developing both themselves and the team around them.

The Role

Working closely with the Head Chef and senior leadership team, you will help oversee the day-to-day operation of a busy, high-volume kitchen while maintaining the highest culinary and service standards.

  • Leading and inspiring a large kitchen team
  • Running the pass during busy services
  • Ensuring smooth kitchen operations and exceptional food quality
  • Managing stock control and placing orders
  • Producing staff rotas and assisting with labour management
  • Training, mentoring, and developing junior chefs
  • Driving consistency, organisation, and operational excellence
  • Contributing creatively to menu development and new dish creation
  • Supporting a positive, collaborative kitchen culture

About You

We are looking for a chef whose attitude and leadership qualities are every bit as important as their culinary ability.

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous experience as a Sous Chef within a high-volume restaurant environment
  • Strong experience in Middle Eastern and/or Mediterranean cuisine
  • Proven ability to run the pass confidently during busy services
  • Experience managing orders, stock control, and kitchen rotas
  • A genuine passion for developing people and building high-performing teams
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • A hands-on leadership style with absolutely no ego
  • A desire to continually push standards, grow professionally, and help others do the same
  • A stable employment history with strong longevity in previous roles
