2nd Chef Role – Strawberry Hill (Caterplus)

At Strawberry Hill within Caterplus, we craft more than meals—we build warm, welcoming spaces for our over-55 community. Our food is made with fresh ingredients, heartfelt care, and a focus on connection over great tables.


Role Overview

As our 2nd Chef, you’ll take ownership, deliver excellence, and grow with us. This is a hands-on role where you’ll ensure food quality, kitchen presentation, and team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership in serving outstanding quality: Maintain the highest food standards daily.
  • Kitchen integrity: Ensure cleanliness, presentation, and stock levels.
  • COSHH, Food Safety & Health & Safety compliance: Reliable adherence to all protocols.
  • Menu awareness: Stay current on daily menus and offerings.
  • Frontline customer care: Deliver warm, friendly service to all guests.
  • Self-development:Proactively take on opportunities to excel.

Working patterns: 2 days per week (every other weekend) | 12 hours per week. Salary: £9,385.20 per year (£15/hour).
