Calling all experienced, passionate, and detail-oriented Sous Chefs looking for an exciting career opportunity in Manchester! Lina Stores is hiring.

About The Role - Sous Chef Opportunity
As Sous Chef at Lina Stores Manchester, you will play a key role in supporting the Head Chef in leading the kitchen team and delivering exceptional food quality, consistency, and service standards.
You will help create a positive, organised, and professional kitchen environment, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations while maintaining the high standards that define Lina Stores.
This role is ideal for a passionate chef who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, developing their leadership skills, and being part of a growing hospitality business.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:
- Supporting the Head Chef with the daily running of the kitchen operation.
- Leading service and ensuring dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
- Preparing and delivering high-quality Italian dishes with consistency and attention to detail.
- Supporting the training, development, and motivation of the kitchen team.
- Maintaining excellent standards of food quality, presentation, and kitchen organisation.
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and managing food costs.
- Ensuring compliance with food safety, health & safety, and company standards.
- Supporting kitchen efficiency during busy service periods.
- Helping create a positive kitchen culture based on teamwork, respect, and passion.

Who We’re Looking For
- An experienced Sous Chef with strong culinary skills and leadership experience.
- Passionate about Italian cuisine and high-quality ingredients.
- Previous experience supervising and developing kitchen teams.
- Calm, organised, and confident during busy service.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering excellent food.
- Good understanding of food safety and kitchen operations.
- A reliable, positive, and team-focused attitude.
- Someone who wants to grow and develop within a successful hospitality business.
