Sous Chef

Sous Chef – Michelin-Starred Restaurant, London

HIDE is an urban oasis, a tranquil retreat hidden within the bustling city. Spread across three floors, it features two light-filled dining rooms with panoramic views over Green Park, centred around a breathtaking staircase.

The restaurant offers a seasonal à la carte menu highlighting British produce sourced from local farmers and suppliers, alongside a tasting menu with paired wine flights available on both floors. A commitment to freshness is core to the concept: jam, juice, bread, charcuterie and pickles are all made in-house wherever possible.

We are currently seeking an experienced Sous Chef to join our Michelin-starred team.

  • Menu Development & Execution

    • Preparing and cooking dishes within your speciality
    • Collaborating with the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef to develop and refine new menu dishes
    • Ensuring culinary standards and creativity are upheld
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship

    • Training and guiding junior chefs under your supervision
    • Managing kitchen operations and deputising for both the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef when required
    • Upholding a professional and respectful environment across the brigade
  • Operational & Compliance Roles

    • Overseeing stock control and effective waste management
    • Ensuring strict adherence to Health & Safety (H&S) regulations for the entire culinary team
    • Supporting an efficient kitchen workflow that aligns with culinary excellence and service demands
