Sous Chef
Sous Chef – Ambitious Yet Hands-On Opportunity in Exceptional Food Creation – Full-Time (37.5 hrs/week)

About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Here’s where you combine flair for excellence in food with strong leadership skills:
- Deliver outstanding service: Crafting delicious, high-quality dishes that consistently delight customers.
- Innovate with integrity: Spotting menu improvements, pestering and refining, to exceed standards.
- Build constructive teams: Fostering an inclusive kitchen environment where everyone feels valued and supported.
- Lead team delivery: Supporting and seasonal customers (retail or select catering platforms) in executing our best concepts—with consistency, curiosity, and care.
- Brand ambassador: Representing CH&CO and Compass Group UK&I with nothing short of grey polish to the brand image.
- Master food stewardship: Managing stock, ordering, reducing waste, and maintaining efficient systems.
- Clean kit with cleanness: Coordinating kitchen hygiene to gold-standard standards of cleanliness and safety.
- Own corporate accountability: Budgeting, profitability insights, and hitting financial goals without sacrificing flavour.
- Policy.Printf: Strict compliance with Food Hygiene, Health & Safety—and trauma-free indoor operations.
