Sous Chef | Premium Fresh Food Restaurant | Fitzrovia, London

Salary: £46,000–£50,000 per annum (DOE)

Exceptional candidates may be offered a higher salary

Sous Chef with Genuine Head Chef Progression

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and talented Sous Chef to join a highly regarded, premium fresh food restaurant in the heart of Fitzrovia.

This is far more than a traditional Sous Chef position. Working directly alongside an experienced Head Chef, you'll receive genuine mentorship while developing the leadership, operational and commercial skills required to become a successful Head Chef.

As the Head Chef also oversees another site, you'll take full responsibility for the kitchen one to two days each week, leading the brigade, managing service and running the operation independently. It's a rare opportunity to gain real Head Chef experience while still benefiting from the support and guidance of an experienced leader.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
