We’re now seeking a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Sous Chef at Cliveden Manor Care Home in Marlow.
About This Role
As the Sous Chef, you’ll assist the Head Chef in leading a culinary team focused on delivering a nutritionally balanced, high-quality, and budget-conscious dining experience—a core element of our residents' wellbeing.
Key responsibilities include:
- Adhering to IDDSI guidelines to prepare modified diets that are visually appealing and balanced.
- Supervising and mentoring culinary staff, ensuring all team members (including unqualified staff) receive clear guidance on foundational food preparation tasks.
- Maintaining strict food safety standards, including adhering to Avery’s Food Safety Management System.
- Collaborating with the team to uphold Avery’s commitment to **hygi

About You
Applicants must embody our values of caring, support, honesty, respect, and accountability.
Ideal candidates will:
- Hold a recognised catering qualification, such as C&Gs 706/1 and 706/2 or NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent).
- Exhibit a minimum of 1 year of catering experience.
- Demonstrate exceptional compassion and a commitment to delivering high-standard culinary care to residents.
- Demonstrate adaptability—be prepared to cover varied responsibilities flexibly at short notice.
