Salary: £45,000 + overtime for extra shifts

The venue thrives on strong weekend trade, frequently serving 200+ covers, while also offering a smoother, more intimate service during the week.
This Sous Chef position is ideal for someone eager to take ownership and lead in the kitchen. You’ll:

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day kitchen operations
- Lead service operations via the pass
- Manage, organise, and support the brige (kitchen team)
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Executive Chef on menu development
- Ensure consistency in high-volume and plated service
- Control prep, stock, and kitchen organisation
What We’re Looking For
➔ Experienced Sous Chef or a strong Junior Sous Chef ready to progress ➔ Background in quality gastro pubs or reputable restaurants ➔ Experience with fresh, seasonal ingredients ➔ Confidence in handling 200+ covers per shift ➔ Strong kitchen leadership with clear decision-making ➔ A hands-on approach and effective communication skills
