We’re now looking for an ambitious Sous Chef in a permanent full-time role (40 hours per week) to excel in nearby Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Belfast.

£36,500 per annum

The Opportunity

Job Description
Food Preparation
- Execute dishes precisely according to recipes, adhering strictly to the Head Chef’s standards.
- Uphold rigorous food safety & sanitation protocols.
Station Management
- Lead production workflow for all dishes at your assigned station.
- Maintain supplies, keep station tidy, and report equipment issues.
Quality Control
- Ensure consistent presentation and taste standards across all dishes.
Team Leadership
- Foster positive team culture through communication and coaching.
- Assist colleagues during peak service demands.
Menu Innovation
- Work closely with the Head Chef to develop new recipes.
- Offer constructive feedback on taste/texture/presentation improvements.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Maintain overall kitchen hygiene in line with company policies.
- Organize stations & hygiene checks, ensuring equipment remains operational.

Qualifications & Skills
- Proven source cooking experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent
- Hands-on knowledge of diverse cuisines and techniques
- Deep familiarity with food hygiene laws
- Thrives under pressure with no room for complacency
- Attention to detail and organisational skill
- Strong collaborative skills with Head Chefs/support families
