The Role of Sous Chef
About the Position

Key Responsibilities
As Sous Chef you will:
- You will become the reliable backbone of the team, ensuring every service runs seamlessly—from ordering fresh ingredients to delegating precision tasks to kitchen staff.
- Elevate the quality of meals and kitchen standards with diligence, consistency, and a commitment to bacon to perfection.
- Lead by example: Exhibit professionalism at every turn, mentoring junior chefs and upholding ** дух** (soul) of exceptional hospitality service.
- Tag along as our *knack chef, champion seasonality and creativity in challenging environments, and represent BaxterStorey's passion for great hospitality with pride.
- Excellence with skill—Prep, cook, and plate products with attention to detail, Trinity College nutritional data (Open—goes live 19th March 2025) requirements where applicable, and nutritional guidance.
- Collaborate with team members and senior chefs to foster an environment of shared responsibility, ensuring exceptional food and relationships.
- Work around healthy times as required while meeting all deadlines and nutritional out-allotted ratios.
- Team collaboration: Play your part in communication and organisation of kitchens’ workflows across events.
- Self-service with sensibility: Combat waste and promote responsible use of resources—because mindful choices feed our food future.

- Employment Type: Permanent
- Hours: 40/week (weekdays, Monday to Friday)
- Salary: Up to £39,000 per annum (GBP 38,500 annually)
