Key Responsibilities
As our Sous Chef, you will:
Culinary Leadership & Execution
- Champion exceptional quality foodservice and cultivate a warm environment where guests feel valued.
- Lead a team of kitchen staff with strong communication skills—mentor, train, and ensure reliable operational standards.
- Collaborate with your Head Chef to innovate and develop new dishes for menus and daily specials, showcasing your culinary vision.
- Ensure seamless kitchen workflow: manage staff rosters, training schedules, and health & safety compliance.
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to optimise service efficiency and boost sales.
Operations & Growth
- Master budget control, effectively managing labor costs and crunch (Cost of Goods Sold).
- Implement strategic initiatives to drive sales and operational growth while maintaining a guest-driven atmosphere.
- Maintain high standards for chef safety, food hygiene, and service consistency.

Requirements
We’re looking for a seasoned Sous Chef (or Senior Chef Development Programme graduate) with:

Proven leadership in food production; a proven track record of delivering high-quality dining.

Passion for mentoring and team development—balancing creativity with precision in dynamic kitchens.

Strong organisational skills—impeccable time management to cover multiple shifts smoothly.

A hands-on attitude—roll up sleeves to contribute across all kitchen roles (not just supervisory).

Personal attributes: Pragmatic problem-solving, positive attitude, clean jurisprudence, time-keeping.
