What We’re Looking For in Our Sous Chef
We’re seeking an experienced Sous Chef or a Senior Chef Development Programme (CDP) graduate with:
- A natural leadership flair.
- A passion for high-quality, fresh food in a warm and inviting environment.
- A proven ability to champion customer service through food excellence.
As our Sous Chef, you’ll:
- Champion excellent service while achieving quality standards.
- Lead, coach, and develop your kitchen team efficiently.
- Operate as an active, hands-on Chef with strong communication skills.
- Manage kitchen staff rosters, training, and health & safety meticulously.
- Work alongside the Head Chef to design and implement new dishes for menus and daily specials.
- Maintain sharp planning and organisational skills to optimise controls on stock (GP) and labour.
- Drive sales growth with a proactive approach, engaging both kitchen and front-of-house teams.
