Company Description

Cook fresh food. Learn from a creative Head Chef. Be part of one of Chiswick's busiest neighbourhood pubs.

At The Duke of Sussex, we're proud to be much more than your local pub. Behind our Victorian exterior is a vibrant food-led destination where seasonal British ingredients meet bold Spanish influences, creating a menu that's become a favourite with locals and visitors alike.

From relaxed lunches and busy dinner services to packed Friday nights with live music, bustling weekends in our garden, and some of the area's best-loved Sunday roasts, every day brings something different. It's a fast-paced, energetic environment where great food and genuine hospitality go hand in hand.

We're looking for a Sous Chef who's ready to become the Head Chef's right hand and help drive standards across every service.

Job Description

The Role

Working alongside our Head Chef, you'll play a vital role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen. This is a hands-on position where you'll help deliver consistently excellent food while ensuring the kitchen operates safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
