Enalees is a biotech company specializing in the development and marketing of lyophilized molecular diagnostic tests for animal healthcare across Europe. As a leader in PCR-type veterinary testing, Enalees leverages LAMP (Loop-mediated isothermal amplification) technology to deliver fast, simple, and reliable diagnoses for infectious canine, feline, and equine diseases. The company’s expertise in lyophilization also supports development projects for partners in health, agriculture, and environmental sectors. Enalees is committed to relocating the creation and production of rapid molecular diagnostic tests to France and has proven its capabilities by co-developing a Covid-19 screening test with French partners. Its expanded production capacity enables robust assay development and product lyophilization services for a growing network of collaborators.
Role Description
The South East Business Development Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for driving commercial growth for Enalees in the South East territory. This position focuses on identifying and developing new business opportunities with veterinary clinics, animal health distributors, and strategic partners, while maintaining and growing existing accounts. The manager will collaborate closely with marketing, technical, and product teams to align regional strategies, provide market feedback, and support product launches. Regular reporting on sales performance, territory trends, and competitive insights is expected, along with participation in industry events, conferences, and training sessions as needed.
Qualifications
- Business development and sales skills, including territory management, account management, and experience building long-term customer relationships.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of animal health, biotechnology, diagnostics, or related life sciences markets; experience with veterinary or molecular diagnostic products is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in planning, forecasting, and using CRM tools to manage pipelines, track activities, and report on key performance indicators.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, organize priorities, travel within the South East territory, and adapt to a dynamic, growth-oriented environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, veterinary science, or a related field; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
- Fluency in English; additional language skills relevant to the territory are an advantage.
- Demonstrated commitment to ethical, inclusive, and customer-centered business practices.
