Elim Housing, part of Places for People, is recruiting for a Team Leader to lead our South Gloucestershire services based at The Forecastle. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader who is passionate about supporting vulnerable people, driving service excellence and developing high-performing teams.

About the Role
As Team Leader, you will be responsible for the operational leadership and service delivery of our South Gloucestershire supported housing services. You'll lead, motivate and inspire a team delivering high-quality, trauma-informed and strengths-based support to people who have experienced homelessness and multiple disadvantage. You'll play a key role in ensuring services are safe, effective and deliver positive outcomes for residents.
The role includes line management responsibility for an Assistant Team Leader and Supported Housing Officers, ensuring excellent service delivery, strong housing management practices, health and safety compliance and a culture of continuous improvement.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading and developing a high-performing team that delivers outstanding support services.
- Providing coaching, guidance and supervision to staff, supporting their professional development.
- Creating a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture.
- Driving service quality, performance and resident outcomes through effective monitoring and quality assurance processes.
- Overseeing housing management functions including rent performance, void management, property standards and compliance.
- Leading partnership working with local authorities and external agencies to improve outcomes for residents.
- Ensuring robust safeguarding, health and safety and risk management practices are embedded across the service.
- Using data and reporting tools to measure performance, identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
- Acting as an ambassador for Elim, promoting our values, vision and psychologically informed approach.

What We're Looking For
We're keen to hear from candidates who can demonstrate:
- Experience leading and managing a supported housing service or a similar leadership role.
- Experience motivating, developing and managing teams to achieve excellent outcomes.
- Strong understanding of homelessness, social exclusion and the challenges faced by vulnerable adults.
- Knowledge of psychologically informed environments and support delivery.
- Experience of safeguarding, risk management and quality assurance.
- Knowledge of housing management, including rent collection, voids, maintenance and anti-social behaviour.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong IT skills and experience using case management and reporting systems.

It Would Be Great If You Also Have
- A qualification in housing, social care, leadership or management.
- Experience of working within homelessness or hospital discharge services.
- Knowledge of trauma-informed practice and reflective practice.
- Experience supporting people affected by trauma or domestic abuse.
- Knowledge of welfare benefits and wider support systems.
