[Job Title] Transaction Management Analyst (Fixed 6-Month Contract, Potential Permanent Transition)


About the Organisation

Thriving Investments is a socially conscious fund manager focused on the living sector, delivering market returns alongside meaningful social impact. We manage 5,300+ homes (£1.1bn+ in assets under management), with plans to grow to £5bn+ through new funds and portfolio expansion.

Supported by a Board of non-executive directors and corporate functions (IT, Finance, HR, Facilities) via our parent, Places for People.


Role & Responsibilities

Work Pattern & Location:

  • London or Bath offices – 3 days/week on-site
  • Initial 6-month fixed contract, with potential transition to permanent status

Key Duties:

  • Support appraisal, due diligence, and execution of acquisitions for a new Shared Ownership Vehicle.
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models, analysing:
    • Pricing, returns, risks, and sensitivities for portfolios of shared ownership homes.
  • Collaborate with:
    • Internal teams (Finance, Investment Management, Legal, etc.).
    • External advisers across financial, legal, commercial, and technical workstreams.
  • Contribute to investment papers and approval materials.
  • Coordinate transaction timelines to meet deadlines.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, funding structures, and market conditions, providing actionable insights for decision-makers.

Essential Criteria

✅ Financial Modelling Skills:

  • Proven experience creating/maintaining complex financial models (cashflow forecasting, returns analysis).

✅ Investment Transaction Support:

  • Hands-on experience in real estate/infrastructure transactions (appraisal to due diligence).

✅ Investment Analysis & Reporting:

  • Strong track record producing investment analyses, appraisals, or board papers.

✅ Multitasking & Deadline Management:

  • Ability to manage multiple workstreams/projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.

✅ Financial Performance Analysis:

  • Experience with stress testing, scenario modelling, or sensitivity analysis.
