Job Opportunity: Qualified Pharmacy Technician in Acute Pharmacy Service
We are looking for an ambitious and motivated qualified pharmacy technician to join us in the Acute Pharmacy Service within the Clinical Pharmacy team. You will have post registration experience upon which to build your knowledge and practice within clinical pharmacy services. The role works at ward level with the multidisciplinary team and closely aligned to the clinical pharmacists. Key tasks are medicines reconciliation and chart review, provision of medicines for inpatient use, patient counselling, discharge planning, and dispensing accuracy checking at ward level. You will also be required to support, train, and supervise less experienced technicians and students. Training and support will be provided for this role.

Aberdeen Royal Infirmary (ARI) is the largest hospital in, located on the site in . ARI is a with around 800 inpatient beds, offering for a population of over 500,000 across the North of Scotland. It offers all medical and surgical specialties with the exception of some organ transplants.
Job Requirements
- Qualified, registered technicians with relevant post-qualification experience
- A dispensary checking technician qualification is required and if not already held, must be undertaken
