Aberdeen City Vaccination Team Recruitment
Aberdeen City Vaccination Team are looking to recruit Fixed term Band 5 Vaccinators (September 2026 – End December 2026). This will be within vaccination centres, as well as outlying community clinics.
Applicants Requirements:
- Must hold a valid registration with a governing body who can work to national PGD’s (Patient Group Directives) or be a registered nurse or midwife with current full NMC registration.
- Must be able to demonstrate a high standard of care, so the immunisation programme is carried out safely, effectively and according to the national policies.
- PEIP would be advantageous but is not essential as training will be given.
- Must have good time management and should be an active team player, but also be able to work on their own initiative as lone working will be required.
- Must have an open, friendly manner with excellent communication skills, as they can be dealing with a diverse range of people from all age groups, occasionally resulting in stressful situations.
- Must be adaptable and willing to move to another clinic if required.

Additional Requirements:
- The post holder should hold a current UK driving license and own or have access to a vehicle (with business insurance) as work may take place across each locality in community vaccination clinics, home visits, Schools and Nursing homes.

Working Hours:
- We are seeking people for various hours per week, and days of work may be over 6 days.
- The hours available are from a minimum of 15 (2 days) up to 36 hours per week. This may include some weekend working.
