Spa and Wellness Manager – Warner Hotels Group (Thoresby Hall)
Join our team at Thoresby Hall, part of the Warner Hotels Group, set in a stunning 221-bedroom property with original architecture, a Great Hall with deep armchairs, and overlooking acres of classic parkland.
We’re looking for a passionate and inspirational Spa and Wellness Manager to oversee our Spa and Leisure Facilities, ensuring outstanding guest experiences, operational excellence, and commercial success.
Salary & Benefits
- £29,500 – £37,000 per year, dependent on experience

Key Responsibilities
The Spa & Wellness Manager will lead all aspects of our spa and leisure provision, working closely with the hotel leadership team and cross-departmental colleagues to deliver excellence. You’ll be responsible for:

- Managing spa operations – Ensuring smooth, high-quality delivery of treatments, facilities, and staff performance, while maintaining brand standards and guest satisfaction
- Driving revenue and growth – Optimising budgets, sales, and retail performance to enhance profit margins
- Creating a premium wellness experience – Developing seasonal campaigns, wellness initiatives, and premium spa treatments
- Ensuring compliance – Maintaining health, safety, and hygiene standards while fostering a satisfying, safe environment
- Leading team development – Training and mentoring staff to elevate service quality and engage guests
- Monitoring and improving guest feedback – Using insights to enhance satisfaction and encourage repeat visits
- Overseeing retail & merchandising – Managing stock, suppliers, and promotions to maximise commercial potential
Requirements
We’re looking for a motivated and experienced leader with:
- Proven spa/wellness management experience, preferably in hospitality or leisure
- Strong leadership skills – Ability to motivate teams, resolve conflicts, and drive performance
- Guest-focused mindset – Passion for delivering exceptional experiences
- Commercial acumen – Understanding of budgets, sales, retail finance, and cost control
- Excellent organisation – Proactive, detail-oriented, and adaptable to seasonal demands
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Spa or Beauty) are desirable but not mandatory
- Commitment to wellness – Knowledge of health, safety, and hygiene compliance
