We Are Looking for an Authentic and Passionate Spa Manager

We are looking for an authentic and passionate Spa Manager to join us at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa and embrace your unique, best self to provide our guests with heartfelt human connections!

At Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel & Spa we want to deliver a ridiculously personal service to all our guests. As Glasgow’s only 5 Star Hotel, our team are focussed on providing our guests with the very best experience and making heartfelt human connections.

Role Overview

As the Spa Manager, you’ll be 100% you, bringing your authentic personality to everything you do; be the ultimate host, confidently leading yourself and making creative decisions that elevate every interaction; and spark joy, using every tool available to craft meaningful and memorable experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership and Management: Leading the entire Spa team to providing a highly service-focused operation with a strong emphasis on guest satisfaction and the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Talent Management: Responsible for both the attraction and recruitment of new talent and the development and retention of current talent.
  • Budget and Strategy: Confident in liaising with multiple stakeholders to ensure the Spa strategy and budgets are being met.

Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • Leadership and Management: Proven track record in a managerial role within a hospitality or wellness industry, preferable within a luxury Hotel environment.
  • Financial Acumen: An understanding of budgeting, forecasting, P&L, and revenue management.
  • Spa Operations: Extensive experience in Spa Management including product knowledge, treatment protocols, staff training, customer service, Health, and Safety. Experience using spa booking system Trybe is desirable, although training can be provided. Pool plant knowledge also desirable and again training can be provided, as necessary.
  • Sales & Marketing: Awareness of current trends in the wellness and leisure industry particularly within a luxury segment. Experience of promoting spa services and packages to increase revenue.
