Role Responsibilities
As a Spa Operations Manager at Mandarin Oriental Hyde Park, London, we expect from you:
- Perform as a professional, with a friendly business attitude and conduct all duties and responsibilities as required by the position, or assigned by the Spa & Wellness Director
- In absence of the Spa & Wellness Director, the Spa & Wellness Operations Manager will take over all responsibilities/duties, including guest/colleague problems, looking after VIP’s and attending meetings
- Assist the Spa & Wellness Director in ensuring the budget requirements are adhered to, with emphasis being on profitability
- Assist the Spa & Wellness Director in co-ordinating the day-to-day running of the Spa and to ensure the high standard of service is maintained
- Be responsible for the progressive, professional and well-organised training induction for all staff in reception and administrative duties. All training must be properly recorded
Work Schedule
As a Spa Operations Manager, you will be working on a rotating shift basis, Monday to Sunday, 39 hours a week. Shift patterns will vary from morning and afternoon shifts (including weekends and bank holidays), so flexibility is required where applicable.

Requirements
To be a successful Spa Operations Manager candidate, you have experience within a luxury Spa environment and are passionate about service and exceeding guest expectations. You have a strong understanding of systems and IT technology, are a strong team player and have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Previous Spa or Hotel experience in a 5-star environment is essential.
