The Opportunity: Spa Receptionist
Position Summary
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and customer-focused Spa Receptionist to join our esteemed spa team at The Elms Hotel & Spa. As the first point of contact for spa guests, you will play a pivotal role in:
- Creating a welcoming and tranquil atmosphere
- Ensuring smooth front desk operations
- Supporting the spa team with administrative and retail tasks
Key Responsibilities

Guest Engagement
- Greet guests warmly and ensure smooth check-in/check-out experiences
- Respond promptly to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries

Appointment & Administrative Management
- Schedule spa appointments through booking software
- Process payments and transactions per company standards

Support & Presentation
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
- Provide inquire on spa services, promotions, and products
- Liaise with spa therapists and management to ensure seamless service delivery

Retail Assistance
- Assist with retail sales and merchandising
- Assist in restocking product displays as needed

Conflict Resolution & Communication
- Handle any guest concerns or escalate to management when needed
Requirements & Qualifications
Ideal Candidate:
- Passion for hospitality and a commitment to creating exceptional guest experiences
- Engaging personality with a welcoming demeanor
- Strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail
- Ability to manage pressure in fast-paced environments
- Exceptional communication skills (written and verbal)
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and after-hours if needed
- Ability to lift/carry items up to 30 lbs regularly, and occasional lifts up to 50 lbs

Preferred Qualification:
- CPR & First Aid certification (or ability to obtain)
