Auchrannie Resort is a leading hospitality destination located in Brodick on the Isle of Arran. Since opening as a 16-bedroom guest house in 1988, it has grown into a diverse resort featuring two 4-star hotels with 85 rooms, thirty luxury lodges, and 14 retreats. Guests enjoy a wide range of amenities including three restaurants, two leisure clubs with pools, a children’s playbarn, and the ASPA, Scotland’s first island-based destination spa. The resort focuses on delivering high-quality experiences in a scenic island setting, offering team members the opportunity to work in a vibrant, guest-centered environment.
Role Description
The Spa Therapist role is a full-time, on-site position based at the ASPA within Auchrannie Resort in Brodick. The Spa Therapist will provide a range of professional spa treatments, including facials, body therapies, and nail services such as pedicures, while ensuring a welcoming and relaxing experience for every guest.

Day-to-day Responsibilities

- Consulting with guests to understand their needs
- Delivering treatments in line with brand and safety standards
- Maintaining clean, well-organized treatment rooms and spa facilities
- Recommending appropriate products and services
- Supporting spa promotions
- Working collaboratively with the wider resort team to enhance the overall guest experience
Qualifications
- Professional cosmetology skills, including knowledge of skin care, product use, and treatment techniques.
- Experience delivering spa treatments and facials to a high standard, with attention to comfort, safety, and results.
- Strong customer service skills, with the ability to communicate clearly, build rapport, and provide a welcoming, inclusive environment.
- Proficiency in pedicures and basic nail care, maintaining hygiene and presentation standards.
- Relevant spa or beauty therapy qualification or certification (e.g., NVQ/SVQ or equivalent in Beauty Therapy or Spa Treatments).
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, in line with resort operations.
- Good time management, reliability, and the capacity to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Previous experience in a spa, wellness, or hospitality environment is beneficial, as is an interest in holistic well-being and guest care.
