KYN is a brand-new care home company focused on offering an elevated approach to care: Individualised journeys built around the needs and interests of our residents in beautiful surroundings with life-enriching practices.
KYN HURLINGHAM is our second home which opened in 2024. It's a 32-bedroom home offering each resident an elegant and comfortable bedroom, communal areas for dining and reclining. We have a further two care homes in development in London.

About The Opportunity
As a BANK Spa Therapist, you will be responsible for:
- To support the Life Enrichment and Wellbeing Lead in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere and consistently delivering an exceptional spa experience/treatment for our residents
- To deliver a variety of spa services (e.g. manicures, pedicures, massages, and facials) to a high standard
- To support the Life Enrichment and Wellbeing Lead/Life Enrichment and Wellbeing Co-ordinators in the implementation of a whole home approach to the provision of meaningful occupation for all residents, taking a proactive attitude towards the engagement of all residents at all times
- To support residents with a range of diagnoses, including dementia and delivering spa treatments for residents who are cared for in bed
- To welcome, assist and handle residents' queries and questions in a friendly, prompt, and professional manner
- To provide recommendations and advice to our residents on treatments and products, including additional services such as holistic health
- To ensure high standards of cleanliness and best practices are always maintained and that health and safety compliance and procedures are adhered to
- To have excellent communication skills, to have product and service knowledge to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our residents
- To care for equipment and use appropriate amounts of product to assist with cost controls
- To schedule hairdresser appointments and liaise with relevant third parties
- To be flexible with your schedule, supporting the needs of the spa and Life Enrichment Team
- To support the team in leading life enriching activities and delivering hospitality services when needed
- To work effectively and efficiently without direct supervision
- To create a nurturing environment where our residents and their family members feel loved, happy, safe and secure
- To work as part of a team and communicate with other departments to ensure excellent quality and service
- To perform prep work and restock as required
- To undertake any administration and reception duties as requested, including liaising with residents and families to book spa treatments
- To attend training when required
- To be fully aware of and comply with rules and regulations
- To act as brand ambassador who demonstrates and leads the KYN values

About You

- You will have experience of working within a beauty therapy venue
- You will have NVQ Level 2 or 3 qualification in Beauty Therapy
- You will be a professional, who understands the importance of delivering and maintaining high standards - keeping a safe, clean, and compliant environment
- You will have strong communication skills, a corporative and polite manner, and an eye for detail
- You will be trustworthy, caring, adaptable, friendly, and patient and continuingly striving for excellence
