Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch
Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Spa Therapist to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Responsibilities
Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
As a Spa Therapist, you will deliver a bespoke and expertly curated spa journey for each guest. This includes, but is not limited to, body and facial therapies, massage services, home-care consultation, and guided orientation of spa and wellness facilities. You will uphold the highest standards of safety, hygiene, and guest satisfaction, ensuring all services are delivered in accordance with Hilton luxury brand standards and ultra-luxury expectations.

As a Spa Therapist, you are responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Participate in all required Waldorf Astoria Spa and brand training programmes
- Maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation across all spa and wellness areas
- Proactively report maintenance and safety concerns to the Spa Manager
- Provide receptionist and operational duties as required
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of current and upcoming hotel, spa, and wellness offerings
- Operate within departmental budget parameters, maximising revenue opportunities while controlling costs
- Deliver seamless, courteous, and efficient guest service from arrival through departure
- Manage spa reservations with precision, including confirmations, amendments, and cancellations
- Upsell spa services and retail products in a refined, guest-centric manner
- Accurately process billing and posting for all spa and retail transactions, reporting discrepancies as required
- Confidently and elegantly explain spa treatments, packages, and wellness experiences to guests
- Welcome and farewell all guests and colleagues in strict adherence to brand and Forbes standards
- Preserve the pristine condition and elevated ambience of locker rooms, lounges, relaxation areas, and restrooms
- Ensure steam rooms, saunas, preparation rooms, and fitness areas are consistently clean and guest-ready
- Maintain and replenish water, beverages, and wellness refreshment stations
- Provide personalised fitness orientation and support, including personal training sessions when required
- Oversee fitness centre upkeep, coordinating equipment maintenance and updates with the Spa Manager and Engineering team
- Ensure all audio-visual and wellness technology is well-maintained and operational
- Deliver tailored wellness and fitness facility tours, providing intuitive, personalised guest engagement

A Spa Therapist within Hilton’s luxury portfolio operates with an unwavering commitment to guest satisfaction and collaborative teamwork. To succeed in this role, you will demonstrate the following competencies and behaviours:
- A service-driven mindset aligned with luxury hospitality and Five-Star service culture
- Ability to read, interpret, and apply safety regulations, operational manuals, and procedural guidelines
- Proven experience within hospitality, wellness, or customer-focused environments
- Strong proficiency in spoken and written English, enabling clear and professional guest communication
- Confidence communicating with individuals and groups in a polished, professional manner
- Sound judgement and problem-solving skills within structured operational settings
- A minimum of one year’s experience in a spa, wellness, or hospitality environment
