RELEX Solutions is a leading international software company with Finnish roots. Our cloud-based platform optimizes retail and supply chain processes across all industries - from DIY, pharmaceuticals and FMCG to manufacturing and our specialty (food) retail.
And as an employer? At RELEX, not only the optimization of trade is our top priority, but also our employees. You benefit from a high degree of autonomy, flat hierarchies, diverse development opportunities and a working environment in which we pay particular attention to the compatibility of professional and private life.
The EMEA Central Customer Operations team is expanding its Merchandising team that delivers Space & Assortment and Price & Promotions projects to customers. We’re looking for a Space, Assortment and Pricing Consultant who has practical experience in Space Planning Solutions with Category Management experience considered a bonus. The main responsibilities will be to independently deliver software implementation projects through all the phases of a project lifecycle in the fields of Space, Assortment, Pricing and Promotion planning.
A Merchandising Consultant is expected to master the customer-specific configurations needed to solve customer challenges and equip them with the most optimized system possible. Combining your experience with our software modules you will actively advise and guide the customer to deliver measurable value.
Your role as a Consultant would be working with English and German customers (German speaking would be a distinct advantage), ensuring customer business benefits are achieved by understanding their use cases and applying these to RELEX best practices in all areas. The role could be split between Space & Assortment customers and Price and Promotion customers, although sometimes these are the same customer!

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
