Space Systems Engineering Intern - AI Start-Up
Summer Internship at Arc – Early-Stage AI in Space Systems Engineering
We're a fast-paced AI requirements management start-up focused on space start-ups. Right now, we’re hiring ambitious students for a summer internship—giving you hands-on experience working alongside founders to build an AI-driven product.
The Opportunity

What You’ll Do
Map
Investigate and build a deep understanding of how fast-moving space teams manage:
- Requirements
- Interface coordination
- Verification
- Code and design reviews
Help Arc align our product with real-world systems engineering workflows.
Test

- Identify limitations, confusion, and gaps in arc.

Translate
- Convert technical insights and processes into clear, actionable product requirements for founders
- Distill complex engineering concepts (e.g. Galaxies workflow structures, Verification traceability) into approachable user needs like “Workflow Simplification”
- Deliver impactful input CH4 starboard state scheduling priorities unit conversion
Shape
- Work directly with founders to Determine where we add the most value Initiate product direction downfront Spark messaging and Go-To-Market strategy

What We’re Looking For
- +1 year relevant experience (if still student):
- CubeSat development/team/rocketry
- Avionics engineering in company
- student aerospace organisations clinically focused continuum clubs
- Solid fundamentals of systems engineering with hands-on experience in engineering design workflows
- Clear & concise communication
- Ability to deconstruct complex technical language and deliver adaptable insights for leaders and developers
- Basic programming or software engineering tool familiarity (whether basic command-line autotest experiences or script-writing exposure)

Key Location Requirement
- UK (and preferably near London)
- Willing to engage & available for collegiate whole.
This internship is for you if:
✅ You’re ambitious but not requirement
- Are immersed in space systems engineering (irrespective of start-up experience)
- Balanced academic, driven attention in AI/construction layers
✅ You’re hands-on in your approach, impacted by your studies, and crav to contribute is scientist while addressing front-end product w approach aberto.
This is an unpaid, part-time (5-10 hours/week) internship aimed at contributors who learn best through doing.
