Spanish Programme Lead (HLTA)

MFL Languages Coordinator (Spanish Teacher) – Two Schools Role

Passionate About the Role

Are you passionate about helping children develop a love of languages? Do you have the enthusiasm, confidence, and warmth to inspire young learners?

If so, we’d love to hear from you.

We are seeking an exceptional educator to deliver our exciting Spanish language programme across two thriving primary schools within our partnership. Whether you are a qualified teacher, HLTA, or experienced Teaching Assistant, if you have a love of languages, a passion for education, and the ability to engage children aged 4–11, we welcome your application.

The Role

You will teach vibrant, interactive Spanish lessons to children from Reception (Year R) to Year 6, using an established, high-quality scheme of work. Your responsibilities include:

  • Deliver engaging Spanish lessons, focusing on speaking, listening, reading, and writing.
  • Inspire and motivate children through fun, interactive activities.
  • Collaborate with school staff to ensure lessons are purposeful, enjoyable, and aligned with school goals.
  • Build children’s confidence and sense of curiosity about Spanish culture.
  • Enhance broader school life by fostering cross-curricular language links.

Key Qualities We’re Looking For

To thrive in this role, you should:

  • Be passionate about education and languages, with a strong command of spoken Spanish (writing ability also beneficial).
  • Have a warm, kind demeanour that helps children feel safe and excited to learn.
  • Be organised, reliable, and professional with a focus on creating joyful learning experiences.
  • Possess creative and dynamic teaching styles that keep young learners engaged.
  • Demonstrate resilience, adaptability, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Have a growth mindset and a commitment to ensuring every child succeeds.
  • Be able to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a team.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
