Mexican Primary School Languages Teaching Assistant – Spanish Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional individual to deliver our exciting Spanish programme across two thriving primary schools within our partnership. Whether you are a qualified teacher, HLTA, or experienced Teaching Assistant, if you have:
- A love of languages
- A passion for education
- The ability to engage children with energy and creativity
we would welcome your application.
Working from a high-quality, fully planned programme, you will deliver lively, interactive Spanish lessons to individual year groups, helping children develop confidence, curiosity, and a genuine enjoyment of learning another language.
The Role
- Deliver engaging, structured Spanish lessons using an established, high-quality scheme of work
- Inspire children from Reception to Year 6 through fun, lively, and immersive teaching methods
- Work collaboratively with school staff to ensure lessons are purposeful, enjoyable, and enriching
- Foster children’s confidence in speaking, listening, reading, and writing Spanish
- Contribute to the wider life of both schools, ensuring a supportive and engaging language-learning experience

About Our Schools
Our schools are part of The Learning Federation Partnership, currently featuring three schools rated Outstanding by Ofsted in Southampton.
Our Schools Include:
- Bitterne Park Primary and Nursery School
- Holy Family Catholic Primary School (to be based here on Wednesdays)
- Sinclair Primary and Nursery School (based here on Fridays)

Partnership Role Details
- Base schools:
- Holy Family Catholic Primary (Wednesday only)
- Bitterne Park Primary (Monday & Tuesday)
- Sinclair Primary & Nursery (Friday)
- Non-working day: Thursday
- Hours per week: 27 hours
- Contract type: Term-time only
- Daily work schedule: 08:00 – 15:45 (standard school hours)
