SEN Teacher

We are working exclusively with a friendly Primary School in central Northampton, keen to appoint a quality SEN Teacher to lead a small group of KS1 children within their nurturing Resource Base.

This is an ideal opportunity for someone with teaching experience to step into a friendly, thriving classroom environment and teach 10 children with speech and communication needs!

Job Specification

  • Position: Full-time, permanent role
  • Key Responsibility: Lead a small Resource Base of 10 KS1 children with speech and communication needs
  • Start Date: ASAP (permanent basis, notice period dependent)
  • Salary: Up to £51,000 (DOE)

Person Specification

  • Essential:
    • QTS/QTLS
    • Teaching experience within mainstream/SEN environments
    • A passion for KS1 with the ability to plan and deliver engaging, interactive activities across the curriculum
    • Skills to build strong rapport with children, parents, and the classroom’s 4 Teaching Assistants
