Weddings & Events Sales Executive
Are you passionate about creating unforgettable occasions and building strong relationships with clients from their first enquiry through to the big day itself?
Our client, a luxury hotel in Buckinghamshire, is looking for a Weddings & Events Sales Executive to take ownership of wedding and special event enquiries and helping clients bring their vision to life.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining sales, organization, and customer service to deliver exceptional experiences. You'll be the first point of contact for couples and event organizers, guiding them through the planning process, showcasing the venue, and ensuring every detail is carefully managed from enquiry to event delivery.
This role is central to the venue's success, ensuring every client receives outstanding service while maximizing revenue opportunities through effective sales and relationship management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing wedding and special event enquiries from initial contact through to confirmed bookings.
- Building strong relationships with clients, understanding their requirements, and providing a personalized service throughout the planning journey.
- Identifying opportunities to upsell additional services and experiences to enhance each event.
- Promoting the hotel's facilities, packages, and services to create tailored experiences for clients.
- Conducting professional venue tours and showcasing the hotel's facilities, services, and event options.
- Preparing proposals, contracts, and event documentation accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Managing diaries, follow-ups, and client communications to maximize booking opportunities.
- Supporting clients with event planning, ensuring all requirements and special requests are captured ahead of the occasion.
- Creating detailed event plans and communicating key information with internal teams.
- Attending planning meetings to ensure every department is fully prepared for upcoming events.
- Welcoming clients and supporting the smooth running of weddings and events on the day.
- Handling guest feedback professionally and using it to help improve future experiences.

Who They’re Looking for:
- Previous experience within weddings, events, conference sales, or a similar customer-focused sales environment and enjoy building relationships with clients.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Strong performance under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to multitask and manage your own workload effectively.
- Exceptional attention to detail to ensure flawless event execution.
- Outstanding communication skills - written, verbal, and in person.
- High level of IT proficiency including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Sales-focused mindset with revenue generation experience.
