🌟 Learning Support Assistant - Special Needs Support 🌟 – Guildford, Surrey

We are partnering with outstanding schools in Dorking, Surrey looking for enthusiastic graduates or experienced individuals to join their supportive and motivated teams as Learning Support Assistants (LSAs).

This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone looking to gain valuable experience in education, especially if you aspire to become a teacher or build a career working with children. We are looking for candidates to work in a warm and welcoming school for students aged 11 to 16 who experience a range of needs including autism spectrum conditions and associated behaviours, moderate learning difficulties or specific learning difficulties.

✨ About the Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will:

  • Support pupils with Learning and Additional Needs, including speech and language difficulties, autism, physical or medical needs
  • Work 1:1 and in small groups within SEN classrooms
  • Collaborate closely with class teachers and the wider school team to enhance learning outcomes
  • Help children develop confidence, independence, and resilience in their education journey.

🎓 Who We’re Looking For:

  • Graduates and non-graduates are welcome
  • Caring, compassionate, and patient personality essential
  • Ability to work 5 days a week, with flexibility to adapt to pupils’ needs
  • Eligible to work in the UK with a valid National Insurance number
  • Able to provide recent and relevant references
