Facilitated Oncology Services Nurse – Chemotherapy Nurse (Norfolk)
About the Role
Our team within the Norfolk region are seeking a registered ‘Chemotherapy Nurse’ to deliver high-quality oncology care, support patients through their treatment journey, and contribute to developing our field-based clinical workforce.
This is a unique, hybrid role blending direct patient care with clinical leadership. You’ll manage chemotherapy treatments while also mentoring colleagues to raise standards, build confidence, and embed best practices—award-winning patients and ensuring cutting-edge clinical delivery.

Responsibilities
Your day-to-day will include:
- Delivering haematological and solid tumour chemotherapy treatments as per patient care plans.
- Caring for 1–8 patients daily, continuously monitoring and documenting responses/adverse events via formal protocols.
- Building deep relationships with patients, carers, and referral networks to support continuity and recovery.
- Developing and maintaining your clinical competence—from first-line treatments to specialist infusions.

Requirements
- NMC Registrationas a qualified nurse.
- Chemotherapy Delivery Qualification (preferably SACT passport).
- Proven experience administering oncology drugs in hospitals or community settings.
- Competency in:
- Clinical assessments
- IV administration
- Cannulation/phlebotomy for therapy sites
- Person-centred attitudes, with the ability to teach, mentor, and model excellence.
